My name is Debra Lavalley. I am an exotic bird breeder located in Ottawa Canada

All of the birds in our care are hand fed, and very well socialized from as young an age as is safe for the birds. As you can see from the various pictures on our website,, our birds have excellent temperaments, and are just fantastic around other people and animals.

The name "Deva Dutt" is a native phrase that translates as

"Gift of God"

Our birds live in the most sanitary conditions imaginable. All cages are cleaned and disinfected regularly. We ensure that our birds are disease tested on a regular basis. If you decide to acquire one of our birds, it will be as healthy as possible.

Along with regular hand-feedings, our birds get regular treats of fresh, hand-chopped fruits and vegetables.

All birds are kept in spacious cages, with no more than 1 or 2 per cage, giving each bird more than enough room to move around. We want our birds to be as stress-free as we possibly can, so they are never subjected to cramped living conditions.

Devaduttaviaries will accept unwanted parrots that need to be adopted out due to their owners lifestyle changes or the result of possible behavior issues associated with pet parrots.

For a charge of $30 CAD, we will have your bird DNA'd at your request.

Shipping is available within Canada and at the buyer's expense. There is a charge of $40 CAD for the crate. We do not ship in winter. We start shipping again at the end of april.

If for any reason you are unable to keep a bird you have purchased from us we ask that it be returned to us. We will not buy back the bird but we will help you place it in a new home or house it here until a new home can be found. We want to work with you to make your experience the best it can possibly be.

Sorry, we are a closed aviary. We do not give tours. This would disturb the breeders.Young birds may be seen by appointment only.
